Dr. Martens is 60. And they are paying tribute to their core heritage markings — by cranking them up to the max. Inspired by a design dug out of the archive, they have emphasised the yellow stitching across this boot's uppers. The boots are built from a new premium leather called Atlas — a classic waxed leather with a subtle pull-up and slight sheen.
- The 2976 is the rugged Docs take on the classic Chelsea boot. Manufactured since the 70s
- Atlas is a classic waxed aniline leather with a subtle pull-up and slight sheen
- Dr Martens Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700°C and reinforced with their signature welt stitch
Built to last, this boot is made using one of the finest methods of construction, the Goodyear Welt. This means the upper and sole are sewn together, not merely glued like many footwear constructions. Plain welt, internal stitch combines with the heat-sealing process to make this a unique Dr. Martens product.
The original Dr. Martens air-cushioned sole, providing underfoot comfort and durability since 1960. It is oil and fat resistant, tough and offers good abrasion and slip resistance.
