The Blundstone 1448 Women's High Top Chelsea Boots offer a more refined take on the familiar pull-on Blundstone shape. Sitting slightly higher around the ankle than the standard Originals, this black leather style has a scalloped collar and brogue detailing around the elastic side panels for a distinctive finish.
The upper is made from supple, water-resistant full-grain leather, giving the boot a clean appearance while retaining the practical character associated with Blundstone. Elasticated sides and the signature pull tabs make the 1448 straightforward to get on and off, with the higher cut creating a closer fit around the ankle.
Inside, a removable contoured EVA footbed provides cushioning underfoot. Blundstone's SPS Max Comfort System combines an engineered toe spring with XRD® Technology in the heel to help absorb impact as you walk. The manufacturer states that the system can absorb up to 90% of walking impact.
The sole combines a PU midsole with a tough TPU outsole. This provides a substantial base for everyday wear, while Blundstone describes the outsole as offering enhanced traction.
Finished in versatile black leather, the 1448 retains the practicality of the Originals Series while the higher profile, scalloped edge and brogue accents give it a noticeably different character from the classic Blundstone Chelsea boot.
